Congressional candidate Dalia al-Aqidi joined Fox News host Trey Gowdy this weekend to make her case to voters — and to draw a sharp contrast with the incumbent she hopes to unseat, Representative Ilhan Omar.
Al-Aqidi, who is challenging Omar for Minnesota’s Fifth Congressional District, spoke from Israel, where she had traveled to express solidarity with the Israeli people in the wake of the October 7th Hamas attacks.
“I came to Israel from ground zero of anti-semitism in the United States,” al-Aqidi told Gowdy. “I came here to represent the good people of the fifth district, the good people of Minnesota — that we are not supporters of terrorists like Hamas.”
